Steam achievements and ship skins

  • Every in-game achievement is a Steam achievement too: each star of a line and each badge, set on Steam the moment it's earned and all of a company's again when its save loads. On top of them the player's own, which span games and are kept on this computer: Here we go again (found a second company), The game starts now (buy a first Trans Atlantic), Top of the line (a Dominator), Call the Mammoth (a Mammoth), Dressed for the occasion (give a ship a skin), Full wardrobe (own every skin of a pack), Old salt (ten hours played in all), Night watch (play between midnight and four), The more the merrier (play a multiplayer game), Lake bugs (deliver crayfish), Captain of everything (every star and badge with one company). They're looked for with the others every second and shown the same way (card and activity log).
  • NOT on Steam yet: the achievements must be created on the Steamworks partner site (Stats & Achievements) under the game's own app id before any unlock reaches Steam.
  • Ship skins per ship: a Skin button on the ship popup (own ships) opens the skin picker: the skins the player owns that fit the model, each with its picture and name, plus "As the Shop" and "Base ship" ("base"); the choice is the ship's own, saved with it and sent to the host in multiplayer, and drawn for every player (any pack's art is in the game).
